On the afternoon of May 28, 2026, Xinyang Yonghaoxuan Furniture Co., Ltd. organized a fire emergency drill, inviting the Xinyang New District Fire and Rescue Brigade for on-site guidance. A total of 100 representatives from over 20 departments took part in the drill to enhance the company’s fire emergency response capability and employees’ fire safety awareness.
Mobilize and deploy, and clarify the objectives of the exercise.
Before the drill, Zhou Caiguo, Deputy General Manager of Production Management, stressed that workplace safety is the bottom line and required all staff to master the use of fire extinguishers and fire hose connections, ensuring rapid and effective response in emergencies.

Professional guidance, combining hands-on practice with theory.
Captain Chen Jianzhuo from the Yangshan New Area Fire Rescue Brigade provided on-site guidance, explaining and demonstrating the proper procedure for connecting fire hoses. Four members of the company's micro fire station, fully equipped in firefighting gear, successfully completed the hands-on practice of hose connection and water discharge under his instruction.

Hands-on firefighting practice, with every participant taking personal action.
In the fire extinguisher hands-on session, an initial fire was simulated. After Captain Chen explained the "pull, aim, squeeze, sweep" steps, department heads and key personnel from critical areas took turns operating the extinguishers to ensure proficiency in firefighting skills.

Conduct extended inspections and comprehensively identify potential hazards.
After the drill, the fire brigade conducted safety inspections in key areas including the factory, canteen, and dormitories, and exchanged views with company staff on daily fire prevention and self-inspection methods, further strengthening safety awareness.

Drill takeaways
This fire drill adhered to the principle of balancing production and safety. With the orderly organization of various workshops and departments, selected representatives participated in hands-on training. Using a point-to-area approach, the participants mastered the correct use of fire extinguishers and fire hoses, and then returned to their respective departments to conduct further training and drive implementation. This effectively enhanced the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of all staff.
Workplace safety is no small matter, and prevention before a fire breaks out is the key. Taking this drill as an opportunity, Xinyang Yonghaoxuan will continue to strengthen safety training and hazard inspections, so as to solidly build a strong line of defense for workplace safety.
